365: Day 14 – The Fisherman’s Shack

For those of you who have never traveled to New England, the change of scenery between towns is clearly evident when you take a drive. You could be driving down Main St. in a large city and a quarter of a mile later you’re in a completely rural town with nothing but barns. Being a city boy, I sometimes enjoy taking a ride out to the countryside and buying vegetables from the local farms. Not only is the food as fresh as possible, but I also help local farms stay in buisness.

With that said, a few days ago I drove out into Granby, Ma., one of those rural towns that borders a major city in Massachusetts, and saw this small shack. It was closed up, but I was attracted to it because it had a bunch of different shaped and colored buoys hanging everywhere – along with many other fisherman accessories like traps. It was pretty cool, check it out:
