365: Day 3 – A Walk Through the Park

1 09 2011

A few weeks ago I drove past a small park – if you could call it that – and convinced myself that I had to stop there. Although it’s a very small area, it’s in a historic part of Springfield, MA. So finally, after work today, I found myself near this area again and I told myself, “if I don’t stop now, I never will.”

Here’s one of the shots I got:

Nikon D3100 - f/11 - 1/40 sec. - ISO 100 - 20mm - No Flash

Thanks! It was my favorite shot of the day also. Funny thing is that my initial intentions were to get a shot of somthing completely different. But after being unsuccessful at getting that shot, as I walked to my car, I saw this bench. Anyhow, thanks for stopping by!

Thanks Emily! I guess the $40,000 education i got from UMass wasn’t a waste after all! Now if I could only find someone to pay me to do this…LoL

There’s something about black and white pictures that can make the simplest of pictures look great. Well, that and a good photographer.
